WOMEN EMPOWERMENT CELL

Our College has women Empowerment cell which aims to empower girls students and faculty,enhancing their understanding of issues related to women and to make the college campus a safe place for girls and women and to address practical issues related to the welfare and equal oppurtunities for girls students.

With a view to take up women’s issues and problems the cell aims at creating awareness of their rights and duties and also provides a platform for women to share their status in the society.

Aiming at intellectual and social upliftment of the female students the cell stands for facilitating Women empowerment through guest lectures,creating awareness about health & hygiene,gender equality,law, self defense etc.Various competitions are conducted to encourage artistic talents like mehendi competition,hairstyle & Nail art competitionflower arrangement,best out of waste,greeting making,rangoli competition etc.apart from this every year we conduct fun week for girls students and International Women’s Day is celebrated.

The Research Cell is well established in the College to promote, monitor and address research activities at KLEs SVS Bellubbi College. Objective of the Cell is to monitor and administer Research programs for faculty and students and encourage them to have rational approach in their academic activities.

Objectives of Research Cell

To work for assessment of Minor Research Projects under UGC and other Agencies guidelines.
To create a conducive environment for making teaching and learning an enjoyable experience.
To widen the mental and intellectual horizon of the students by imparting them knowledge.
To prepare the students to face the new challenges in life successfully.
To sharpen their skills and to tap their latent potential to prepare them for various jobs in their future life.
To make the optimum use of the infrastructural facilities for a meaningful exchange of knowledge.
To create among the students a desire for more and more knowledge and use this knowledge for the welfare of mankind.

The OBC Cell in the college was established in 2019-20 with the purpose to empower the OBC students. The college takes special interest in facilitating financial support to students from these communities from government agencies and other sources. The cell is always engaged to solve the various problems of OBC students.
